We want to extend a personal welcome to each of you who view the St. John web site.
We are located in DePere, Wisconsin and affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
Our ministry is to all those seeking a community of worship, a place to gather in fellowship, a thirst to learn about the Bible and the Christian Story and how these relate to our everyday lives and an opportunity to serve others.
We welcome life long Lutherans, people from other religious backgrounds, and anyone who wants to explore the dimensions of life from a faith perspective. It is the questions of faith and life, which deepen our experience with God and each other. Our congregation welcomes you with an attitude of gracious hospitality; the same way we perceive God welcomes each of us.
A computer is not a very personal way to meet you, but it is an important asset in your search to find a vital and caring Christian community.
